HR Manager - full-time

Based in Maidstone, Valley Invicta Academies Trust are looking to expand their central HR team by appointing an HR Manager. The HR Manager will work alongside the HR Administration Manager to deliver an excellent all-round HR service to our 9 schools, with a focus on recruitment and providing high quality professional advice and support to managers and staff for all HR related matters.

This is an exciting time to be joining the HR team, having recently implemented a Trust HR system and we are in the early stages of rolling out a recruitment and learning management system.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about ensuring employees are fairly treated while supporting senior leaders in the fair and consistent application of Trust policy and procedure. You will be used to working with a number of stakeholders, including senior leaders, and be confident in the method and manner of communication used depending on the circumstances. A proven track record of ER case work and an ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.

This is an all year round position for 37 hours per week.  You will also enjoy our benefits package including 27 days' annual leave plus the Bank Holidays.

Valley Invicta Academies Trust is a Multi Academy Trust, based in Maidstone, Kent. The Trust is a family of primary and secondary schools which work in partnership to provide nothing less than outstanding education for all our young people. Presently the Trust is responsible for five primary schools and four secondary schools:

Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford, Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes, Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill, Valley Invicta Primary School at Leybourne Chase and Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough.

VIAT Secondary Schools

Invicta Grammar School, Valley Park School, The Lenham School and the School of Science and Technology Maidstone. Invicta Grammar School is the highest performing “non super selective” school in Kent and Valley Park School is one of the highest performing non-selective school in Kent.
