Marelle Giles

Marelle Giles

Marelle has enjoyed teaching Religious Studies for almost 25 years and more recently has also branched into teaching Classical Civilisation.

She joined Invicta in 2008 as an Assistant Head Teacher becoming Head of School in September 2021.

Marelle is a great believer in the pooling of individual resources, will and effort to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts; a successful school is more than anything else a collaboration between students, staff, parents who all commit themselves to a shared vision with shared values. The keystone of this collective effort is the affirmation that education is the great social lever,  able to transform the life chances of young people, able to push further horizons of knowledge and understanding, enable ambitions and create curious and thoughtful future citizens.

In her spare time Marelle likes swimming and exploring the world.
