Business Administrator Apprentice - Valley Park School

Main purpose of the post:

To provide a confidential and administrative support to the school as directed by the School Events Manager.

Job context:

The post-holder provides a range of administration services to teaching and support staff and therefore work is generated throughout the day. This might include the following tasks:

• Filing student information
• Prepare and issue letters
• Issue and distribute emails as requested
• Collate and distribute documentation to teaching and or other staff
• Administrative support to the Scholarship Programme
• Liaise with Admissions and Administration Officers regarding supporting the admissions process
• Answering the telephone and covering reception after initial training
• Filing
• Letters and email communication to stakeholders
• Updating and posting news and events to school social media
• Booking meetings and venues
• Giving administrative support to the School Events Manager as required
• To support all aspects of school administration including covering reception, answering the telephone, filing, arranging meetings, and communicating with stakeholders via email and social media
